Huening Kai Shares the Spoilers TXT Has Been Giving for "minisode 2: Thursday's Child"
On May 17, Weverse Magazine released an article about their interview with Huening Kai to commemorate TXT's comeback with "minisode 2: Thursday's Child."
At the beginning of the talk, Weverse Magazine mentioned how Kai was quite busy even before the boy group dropped their new mini-album. The interviewer brought up his cover of "Sk8er Boi" by Avril Lavigne that came out in February.

TXT Huening Kai shared, "Not only was I covering a song by a singer I liked when I was young, but it was also my dream because 'Sk8er Boi' is one of the songs you have to do if you make a band."
He then recalled his fellow TXT member Beomgyu performing that particular Avril Lavigne song when he was in a band too. He further said that he thought of covering "Sk8er Boi" as they were about to work on "Good Boy Gone Bad," which is another rock-ish song.
Weverse Magazine commented that "Sk8er Boi" is practically a spoiler about the genre of "Good Boy Gone Bad."
And speaking of spoilers, the interviewer pointed out that Huening Kai dropped a spoiler for TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" at the 2021 MelOn Music Awards, which took place in January this year.

The male star responded by sharing that TOMORROW X TOGETHER gives different little spoilers for their upcoming albums at every award ceremony.
Huening Kai said that one of the spoilers for "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" was the dance break that his fellow TXT member Yeonjun did at the 36th Golden Disc Awards and for STUDIO CHOOM. He explained that his dance break was "a preview of what kind of feel the new album has."
TXT's youngest member stated, "A young, innocent man finds inspiration somewhere and changes in a way that he wants to become a star, wants to be cooler, wants to be a kind of bad boy, which really suits the vibe of the whole album and the rock feel of the lead single."

Another spoiler for TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" that the boys gave last year was their performance of Rain's "Bad Man" at the 2021 KBS Song Festival.
To recall, TOMORROW X TOGETHER had a special collaboration stage with their labelmate and junior group ENHYPEN at KBS's music festival.
Huening Kai said, "The reason I chose 'Bad Man' out of all Rain's songs to perform for KBS Song Festival was that it is a perfect fit for our album. And actually, as I recall, 'Bad Man' and 'Candy' (by H.O.T.) were really well received, so I guess that was all part of the label's big picture."
