Simon Cowell Gets Pelted With Eggs By Angry Viola Player During ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Live Finale [VIDEO]

After the egg incident on the finale of "Britain's Got Talent," Simon Cowell tweeted: "I really don't like eggs."

The talent show judge and his fellow panel, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams were watching Welsh opera singers Richard and Adam Johnson perform "The Impossible Dream," when a woman raced across the stage and pelted the panel with a carton of eggs, Us Weekly reports. She had a huge smile on her face the whole time.

One egg seemed to hit Cowell in the jacket, which he removed later in the show.

The woman was quickly escorted off the stage by security and the opera singers, who continued their performance as if nothing had happened, were given a standing ovation.

According to a "Britain's Got Talent" rep, the woman was a member of the singers' backing group who was turned down last year for an audition on the show.

"Natalie Holt (age 30) was part of the backing group for their performance, and as a result of her misguided actions the police were called," the rep continued in a statement, E! Online reports. "However, we have decided to take no further action at this stage."

Holt quickly apologized for the incident.

"I want to apologize to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I've never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do."

Judge Alesha DIxon apologized to the opera singers for having their performance interupted. Amanda Holden, on the other hand, was less polite, and called Holt a "stupid cow".

The opera-singing Johnson brothers finished in third place during the finale.
