On June 20, IVE posted the second episode of their reality program, "1, 2, 3 IVE 2," on their official YouTube channel.

In this episode, the production team decided to conduct an experimental camera content to see the reaction of the members who saw the youngest staff being scolded by their seniors on the set.

While IVE members were excited to share with fans a new content video, people's reactions were divided. The reason the clip attracted both delight and displeasure from viewers was due to Leeseo's response to the hidden cam prank.

In particular, the prank started with Leeseo preparing for a solo shoot along with the youngest staff when the cake "accidentally" fell. The "LOVE DIVE" singer slowly walked back and said, "Wait..."

Leeseo was seen panicking when the senior staff came to check what happened. She asked the maknae staff:

"Did you spill it? Or did Leeseo drop it?"

When the staff answered it wasn't the idol, the senior staff grabbed the youngest staff and notified Leeseo they would talk first.

Amid the intimidating atmosphere, Leeseo managed to say, "I'll just sit there for a while."

In a lounge where her co-member Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin were waiting after being pranked as well, Leeseo came to them. Wonyoung, pretending not to know, asked her:

"You couldn't do the shoot?"

But when the older members saw her scared expression, they immediately showed her the monitor where they were watching and revealed that it was only a hidden cam prank.

Leeseo, who was too stunned to speak, repeatedly asked:

"What is this? I was so scared. What's this?"

But she eventually made a sigh of relief, saying:

"I'm glad (it's only a hidden cam prank)."

As soon as the video content was uploaded, it received various reactions. A lot of commenters praised Liz for covering up and crying for the staff during the prank.

However, some criticized Leeseo for allegedly being inconsiderate. According to them, she could have at least covered up for the staff being scolded, instead of running away from the scene.

Meanwhile, DIVE (IVE fandom) defended the celebrity and commented:

"Do you want to show good things only when you cover up for someone who is down?"

"Why should minors cover up mistakes made by adults?"

"I think it's too much for a 16-year-old."

Fans went on by criticizing the people behind the video concept, saying:

"Why are you doing this content?"

"It's meaningless and not fun."

Meanwhile, IVE has continuously established popularity since debut in December last year.

On June 19, the sextet topped the MelOn "Top 100" chart for the first time after the 76th day of the release of "LOVE DIVE." The track also topped the Melon Daily Chart on June 21.

This is a huge achievement because it is rare for a rookie group that debuted less than a year to achieve the top spot, usually occupied by senior idols.
