When K-pop idols prepare for a comeback, they typically go on a diet or work out to lose weight for them to have an amazing figure and stunning visuals. f(x) Luna is one of the artists who starts her diet one weeks before her return to the music scene, and so she would need an extreme diet to achieve her goal. She also exercises to maintain her shape.

f(x) Luna Diet Routine: Here's How the K-pop Idol Loses Weight in One Week
In one of her YouTube videos uploaded back in December 2016, Luna revealed the method she uses to lose a lot of weight in the short time before a comeback or an important photo shoot.
At the beginning of the video, Luna warned the viewers not to try the diet, especially if you are anemic. She said, "Since it's a diet that's not very healthy at all, I don't normally recommend it."
Shockingly, f(x) Luna's diet routine before a comeback is drinking lemon green tea-and nothing else. She only needs three ingredients to make it: green tea bag, lemon, and two bottles of 1.5L water.

In the video, the "Electric Shock" singer detailed how she prepares the drink at home. First, she slices a lemon into thin pieces and squeezes the juice of two slices into the bottle of water. The other two slices go straight into the water.
Then, she brews a concentrated green tea for 20 minutes and adds it to the lemon water-and it's complete!
f(x) Luna would drink two whole 1.5L bottles of lemon green tea water per day and nothing else. With this detox diet, the idol would lose 8kg (roughly 18 pounds) in just a week.
Green tea aids in reducing your appetite and helps your body burn fat faster thanks to a chemical called catechin. Consuming water also helps to lessen the swelling and keeps you from appearing bloated.

Apart from introducing her lemon green tea water, f(x) Luna also showed the viewers her air cycling, which she does before going to bed. She performs three sets of this exercise for 15 minutes.
In addition to that, Luna also does meditation, which is another important part for a "before comeback" dieting. She does it for a total of 10 minutes.

f(x) Luna's extreme diet routine may not suit us well, but you can try her healthy diet, which is eating a small, balanced portion of meal during breakfast and consuming a heavy meal at lunchtime. She typically follows this diet during off-season, which is when she has no album activities.
In particular, the female idol eats two hard-boiled eggs and two slices of cheese, and drinks calamansi juice.
The reason f(x) Luna goes on a diet even during off-season is because she gains weight quickly, so if she doesn't maintain a steady diet, it would be hard for her to get back in shape.
f(x) Luna Workout Routine
If you think you can't do Luna's diet regimen, you can try the f(x) member's workout routine instead, which includes the aforementioned air cycling.
The "4 Walls" singer would also take a jog or go running on a treadmill during off-season. She even hits the gym and works out with her personal trainer. She first performs exercises that help her gain muscles, and finishes with cardio exercises.
It usually takes her two hours to do her workout routine, which consists of muscle stretching, dumbbell upper body muscle exercise, push ups, band stretching, kettlebell (both pressing and swing), and hot potato exercise.
