The lead singer of the British band The Last Shadow Puppets had some not so nice words to say about the age difference between his ex-girlfriend Suki Waterhouse and her on-again-off-again romance with Bradley Cooper.

"The thing is, she is a 21-year-old girl and you forget how young she is, Kane said an interview published Monday in Marie Claire magazine. 

"I don't know how old he is - what, 40 or something like that? She is a young girl and I'm sure he'll realize that."

Cooper set off an avalanche of media speculation that his relationship with Waterhouse was over when he was reportedly spotted with another woman last week.

Yet, when the couple showed up arm-in-arm at Saturday's Spike TV Guys Choice Awards in Los Angeles, the romance appeared to be back on.

The romance between The Hangover 3 actor and British model started at the Elle Style Awards in London back in February. 

According to US Weekly, Waterhouse pursued Cooper while she was still dating Kane.  

A close friend of Cooper and Waterhouse claims their romance had to take a backseat due to the Oscar nominated actor being in such high demand. 

Waterhouse is now reportedly just happy to spend some time with him.

"She understands his packed schedule which he appreciates," the source said. "Bradley really has a thing for her right now."

Despite his busy schedule, Cooper opened up to The Sun how he loves being in love.
