AKMU Suhyun Diet & Workout Routine: Here's Her 4-Month Weight Loss Plan

Like most K-pop idols, AKMU Suhyun also had several rounds of gaining and losing weight in a short period. However, through a strict diet, she can transform herself from a chubby and adorable girl to someone with a princess-like beauty. Once, Lee Suhyun had a four-month diet routine to shed some pounds. Read on to know what kinds of food she only ate.

On YouTube, Lee Suhyun posted a video titled "MOCHIPEACH's 7-day Diet" where she revealed what food she ate and what exercise she did to lose weight for several weeks. When the video was released, the female idol had been on a diet for about two weeks.

However, she warned the viewers that this diet shouldn't be done in the long term. But unlike other idols' with an unhealthy weight loss plan, AKMU Suhyun's diet routine consists of healthy food, such as granola, chicken breasts, grapefruits, and tofu salads. "Carbohydrates, proteins, fruits, and vegetables- I eat them evenly, plus exercise," she said.

Lee Suhyun had this strict diet routine for four months, and she successfully lost nearly 18 pounds, getting rid of her chubby cheeks.

Aside from eating healthy food, she also lost weight after working out with a trainer at the gym. She would walk or run on a treadmill, do stretching, balance on a wobble cushion, and more.

On May 16, 2016, Lee Suhyun appeared on KBS Cool FM 'Park Jiyoon's Gayo Plaza' along with her brother and bandmate Lee Chanhyuk. She talked about her dieting methods, saying that she diligently stuck to her diet for around four months.

She shared, "I watched what I ate and exercised a lot. I dieted health-consciously by eating protein and vegetables while controlling my carbohydrates intake."

On YouTube, the YG artist revealed other different methods she used to lose weight.

In one video, she showed the time she did the lemon detox diet for six days. She explained that she attempted this kind of diet because her face's condition is getting "worse and worse," so she hopes to get her face back in good condition and lose some pounds.

In addition to drinking lemon water, AKMU Suhyun also had a one-hour morning walk as her aerobic exercise for six days.

However, her "fruit-only meal plan + lemon water detox" caused her gastrointestinal problems. So she suggested that a lemon detox diet should include a healthy meal plan that doesn't affect the lungs.

In a different YouTube video, the "Give Love" singer revealed one of the meals she eats when she's on a diet- which she described to be "yummy yet low in calories." This particular meal consists of Hetbahn brown rice (instant rice), some minced vegetables (mushroom, carrot, zucchini, and onion), one egg (cooked alongside the rice and vegetables), and chives.

Lee Suhyun noted that while cooking this meal, it is important not to include salt. So instead, she eats the fried rice with chicken breast sausage, rinsed and minced kimchi, Ssam, and seasoned spinach.

In a separate YouTube video, AKMU Suhyun revealed that she went on a keto diet. She shared that she did a lot of research and bought a lot of snacks. She found the Keto Fat Bomb delicious among the snacks she purchased. She said that they are not as sweet as a chocolate bar.

In the same video, the "NAKKA" singer told the viewers that she would do pilates, which has become a go-to exercise of female K-pop idols these days.

In a different video, Lee Suhyun shared her "easy-to-follow" tips for a park workout. She did various exercises with her coach, such as cycling, going up and down the stairs, "walking the clouds," and others.
