Rapper 2 Chainz Robbed at Gun Point, Shots Fired in Broad Daylight

2 Chainz, born Tauheed Epps, was reportedly robbed at gunpoint Sunday, June 9 in broad daylight while touring in San Francisco, CA. According to reports, the rapper's wallet and possessions we stolen around 4:30 PM.

San Francisco police arrived at the scene after they received a call that shots were fired. Once they arrived on the scene 2 Chainz, told them that he "wanted to handle it himself."

According to a San Fransico police spokesperson, “He and his crew were walking in the 800 block around 4.36pm. They were approached by two Hispanic males; one produced a handgun and a shot was fired. Mr. Epps is saying he was robbed of a wallet, credit cards, US Currency and a cell phone. The suspect is still at large, and the investigation is ongoing. The suspect is 20 to 30 years old, 5 foot 6 inches and about 130 pounds. He was wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans.”

In a surveillance video found, it is reported that “2 Chainz’s entourage of 14 people ran away from the incident like cockroaches running from a flashlight,” according to TMZ.

2 Chainz has yet to formally address the altercation although he did retweet a fan that mentioned the shooting when retweeting the rapper's own tweet of his Summer Jam performance of the same night via the social media site Twitter.
