NBA Stars Rajon Rondo Kobe Bryant Read Mean Twitter Messages On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' [Video]

Jimmy Kimmel's ABC show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live," produces segments where celebrities read mean tweets about themselves. Kimmel decided to ask NBA stars like Kobe Bryant and Rajon Rondo to do the same thing.

The results are hysterical.

The first NBA star Kimmel features is Metta World Peace or as he was formerly known, Ron Artest.

Here's the Twitter message Metta World Peace read for Kimmel's audience:

"What's the difference between Ron Artest and Metta World Peace? Nothing. They are both huge pieces of s—t!"

Metta World Peace was very peaceful about the exchange.

Then there was Chris Paul and Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers. Paul read one tweet that said, "Has anyone noticed that Chris Paul has Michael Jackson's original nose?"

At that point Blake Griffin sort of nodded and seemed to imply Paul's nose did bear a resemblence to the earlier nose of the King of Pop.

Paul, like Metta World Peace, just sniffed, and wrinkled his nose, sending he audience into hysterics.

Then Boston Celtics point guard, Rajon Rondo was up. Said one Twitter user: "Is it just me or does Rajon Rondo look like that turtle named Franklin or Nick Jr?"

Rondo's countenance was implacable after he finished reading.

Then, 5-time NBA champion and one of the greatest player in NBA history was up.

Kobe Bryant read his own mean tweet:

"Rememeber when Kobe Bryant used to dunk and nobody was surprised? Now every time he dunks it's a big deal."

Kobe just nodded and said "Yeah, I remember that."

The audience was too scared to laugh, so there was just a light titter of appreciation for how self-effacing Kobe was in that moment.
