Over the years, the music industry has seen non-Korean idols debuting in K-pop groups, where members are given unique roles based on their skills. In addition to the main dancer, main rapper, and main vocalist positions, there's also the visual position (which is given to either one or more members). Here are 5+ non-Korean male K-pop idols who are visuals of their groups.

2PM Nichkhun

2PM is one of the K-pop boy groups with two visual members- and one of them is the "Thai Prince" Nichkhun. Although the 2PM member was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California and was raised in Thailand, he is actually of Chinese descent. He is one of the few K-pop idols with dual citizenship: Thailand and the United States of America.

GOT7 Mark is probably another popular non-Korean male K-pop idol who is the visual of his group. He is American and was born in Los Angeles, California, but Mark is of Taiwanese descent.

His other roles in GOT7 are vocalist and lead rapper. While he often raps in GOT7's title track, he showcases his vocal skills in the B-side songs. And since leaving JYP Entertainment, his solo releases are filled with singing more than rapping.

WayV Lucas, Winwin, and Hendery

There are three visual members in WayV who are all non-Korean, namely Lucas, Winwin and Hendery.

Lucas is Thai-Chinese. His father is Chinese, while his mother is Thai. He was born in Sha Tin, Hong Kong. Before being scouted by SM Entertainment, he helped run a Thai restaurant in Hong Kong owned by his parents. He would visit Thailand at least once a year to spend time with his mother's family.

Winwin is Chinese. He was born and raised in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China. But when he was young, his family relocated to Beijing for his studies. He was attending The Affiliated Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy when SM Entertainment scouted him.

Hendery is Macanese, having been born and raised in Macau. He was the youngest child and the only son in his family. After studying in Foshan, Guangdong in China, he later moved by himself to Beijing to learn acting, as his original dream was to become a comedian. He was then street casted by an SM agent.

TREASURE Haruto, Asahi

To cap off the list, we have the non-Korean male K-pop idols from TREASURE: Haruto and Asahi. They are just two of the five visual members of the boy group (the others are Junghwan, Jaehyuk, and Junkyu), and both of them are Japanese.

First, Haruto boasts a masculine and mature face and deep voice that new fans would surely fall for. He is the youngest Japanese member as he was born in 2004 (and the third overall). Haruto is also the main rapper of the group.

Asahi has the most delicate features that make him appear soft and handsome. Since he doesn't smile often, he exudes a "don't touch me" aura that makes him stand out. Asahi is also part of TREASURE's vocal line.
