Final Fantasy 15 Is The New Name Of Final Fantasy Versus 13; Sony Reveals More Games For Playstation 4 [TRAILER]

Final Fantasy 15 will launch on the Sony PlayStation 4. It is not a new version for Final Fantasy series, it is just a rebranding for the Final Fantasy Versus 13.

Square Enix, the developer of Final Fantasy 15 announced during Sony's E3 2013 press conference about the slight change made to the originally named Final Fantasy Versus 13. The game has been in quiet development for some years but the developer finally announced that the mysterious video game is still available only with a new name. And good news for those planning to purchase Sony's next generation gaming console, Final Fantasy 15 will become available for Sony PS4.

The game developer re-introduced the video game during Sony's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2013) held in Los Angeles Convention Center on Monday. It showed the trailer for Final Fantasy 15, which is the first public showcasing of the game since the trailer of then called Final Fantasy Versus 13 was released in 2011.

The trailer showed a new footage of the game as well as the characters, featuring the main hero in the game, Prince Noctis Lucius Caeulum. The gameplay shown for the Final Fantasy 15 trailer features quick movements as well as action-heavy stealth. Watch the latest trailer for Final Fantasy 15 below:

Final Fantasy 15, then Final Fantasy Versus 13 was originally launched during the E3 2006 as one of the pieces from the three-part 'Fabula Nova Crystallis' games, set in the same story world. The other titles for the three-part game which became more successful were Final Fantasy 13 and Type-0 while Final Fantasy Versus 13 remains in the darkness. And on June 2012, Kotaku website reported that the game was cancelled quietly.

Meanwhile, Sony also released other titles for the PlayStation 4 during the E3 2013 press conference. Other games for PS4 include Kingdom Hearts 3, The Order: 1886, and Transistor. Sony also showcased independently developed games to be made available for Sony PS4 such as Mercenary Kings, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, Don't Starve. There will also be a remake for the game Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee.
