Free Games To Be Given To Xbox Live Gold Members; Assassin’s Creed 2 And Halo 3 Included

Two free games per month will be given to the gold members of Xbox Live and these games include Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo.

As a kick off to Microsoft E3 2013 Press Conference on Monday, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the company has announced a perk to their paying members-- free games every month! The gaming giant shared that there will be free games per month and this will be offered only for the Xbox Live Gold members will start immediately and the first two free games are Halo 3 and Assassin's Creed 2.

This new perk of giving away 2 free games per month from Microsoft's Xbox Live is actually similar to what Sony PlayStation Plus is offering to their valued paying subscribers.  The service from Sony PlayStation Plus includes a monthly free for a rotating lineup for free games as well as discounted ones. Sony does not give any payment charges to owners of PlayStation 3 to access online multiplayer gaming. However, this similar service is restricted to the Gold members of Xbox Live who owns a Microsoft Xbox 360.

Aside from announcing this free games benefit for their paid members, Microsoft has also announced that there will be changes on the user interface for Xbox Live on the 360 to catch up with sleeker and modern styling used for Xbox One.

More news regarding Halo, Microsoft teased as well during their E3 2013 keynote presentation that a new title for Halo as an exclusive title for Xbox One will be coming on 2014, showing a trailer for the game. However, details provided are very thin yet and Microsoft chose not to reveal the title of the New Halo game. A representative of Halo's studio developer shared that the new game would use cloud power in certain capacity and it will run at 60 frames per second, taking advantage of Xbox Ones' flexibility and power.

For the Gold members of Xbox Live, claim your free games immediately!
