It is presumed to have occurred due to an accident or a simple happening as Jeno is also not following anyone at the moment. But for some, it raises suspicions that the two are dating. Others even compared this to BTS V and BLACKPINK Jennie's case, where the "Fire" singer accidentally followed the latter.
Later on, several photos of the two circulated online, featuring two meeting in Jeju and so on.
4 'Proofs' TWICE Mina & NCT Dream Jeno Are in A Relationship
Aside from the fact that Jeno followed Mina either "accidentally" or "intentionally," the second reason people think they are dating is due to their similar Instagram ID.
Jeno's username is written as "leejen_o_423," using two underscores. This is the same way Mina's name is, "mina_sr_my."
The third reason is how the two stars, unfortunately, got COVID-19 without much gap between each other.
Mina was announced to have contracted the virus on May 23, while Jeno had it on June 2. There are absurd explanations that the two celebs were together prior to diagnosis.
The fourth and last was that netizens found out that Mina and Jeno are friends at Steam.
A netizen revealed that Jeno also follows Mina on the gaming platform and that they have been playing together.
With these, people are responding in various ways, such as:
"Which celebrity puts his real name in his ID and plays with his girlfriend?"
"Steam ID can be duplicated or modified."
"Too far-fetched."
"If it was revealed a year ago, it is unlikely to be manipulated."
"Is anyone still believing it?"
"It's suspected if coincidence overlaps."
Amid the speculations, SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment are yet to release their official statements regarding this.
On the other hand, despite allegations, the two stars remain silent about it and continue to focus on their respective schedules.
Mina is currently promoting with TWICE after the release of their 11th mini-album, "BETWEEN 1 & 2," and title track, "Talk That Talk," on August 26.
Jeno, on the other hand, showcased his rap and vocal skills by becoming a featuring artist to SHINee Key's b-sidetrack, "Villain," a song under the latter's second studio album, "Gasoline," on August 30.
