A music video is one of the most awaited contents for any K-pop artist's debut or comeback, and filming it is probably one of the challenging parts for K-pop idols during their preparation. But did you know that there are K-pop MVs that were shot at the same locations? If not, below are just a few examples.
6 Pairs of K-pop Music Videos Filmed at the Same Locations
Girls' Generation's "I GOT A BOY" & EXID's "Whoz That Girl"
Girls' Generation's "I Got A Boy" MV is one of the most colorful and artistic MVs of the legendary girl group. At one point in the video, the girls execute the dance break of the choreography with a red and gold background.

The same background appears in EXID's "Whoz That Girl" MV. But instead of red and gold, it is red and white. Although they were shot at the same setting, both girl groups still stand out in their own ways.
BLACKPINK's "STAY" & F.T. Island's "Wind"
There's a scene in BLACKPINK's "Stay" MV that is similar to one scene in F.T. Island's "Wind." In particular, the building hall where Lisa can be seen is the same as the building hall where the F.T. Island members are standing.
But because of the different lighting and editing, the music video of the boy group has a warm color while the girl group's MV exudes sad and lonely vibes.
EXO's "Call Me Baby" & BTS' "DOPE"
Another pair of K-pop music videos that were filmed at the same locations is EXO's "Call Me Baby" and BTS's "DOPE." Apart from this, these two songs were released in the same year as well, 2015.

You can notice that the building where both groups are dancing are made of bricks. What makes them look different from each other is the lighting and setting. While EXO's space has no props, BTS's has many.
B.A.P's "1004" & TWICE's "Like Ooh Ahh"
An amusement park is one of the most common places where K-pop MVs are filmed. For instance, B.A.P and TWICE both went to Yongma Land park to short theirs. It is a small and abandoned amusement park, but it is an excellent setting for MVs once the lights are turned on.
Among the rides, the merry-go-round is the most famous one. In fact, you can see it both in B.A.P's "1004" MV and TWICE's "Like Ooh Ahh" MV.
BIGBANG's "BANG BANG BANG" & ITZY's "DALLA DALLA"
There are plenty of K-pop MVs with scenes in a tunnel, and that includes BIGBANG's "BANG BANG BANG" and ITZY's "DALLA DALLA." Although these two MVs were recorded at the same tunnel, each of them still gives off different vibes.
Fun fact: "BANG BANG BANG" and "DALLA DALLA" aren't the only K-pop MVs filmed in that tunnel.

Who would miss the round structure in Stray Kids' "Hellevator" MV where the members can be seen performing the choreography of the song in the middle? It's so obvious that you'll surely recognize it in the music video for MINSEO's "ZERO."
You'll even get an aerial view of that building in the solo artist's MV, as well as its upper section.
