TWICE Jeongyeon Reveals Nayeon's Stalker Called Her, ONCEs Urge JYPE To Take Action

Following alarming news that Nayeon's stalker, Josh, is finding a way to approach the female idol again, Jeongyeon also confessed that she suffered from the invasion of privacy of the German sasaeng.

TWICE Jeongyeon Alarms Fans After Confessing Nayeon's Stalker Contacted Her

On September 22, Jeongyeon took to paid fandom-messaging application, Bubble, to communicate with fans, especially ONCEs (fandom of TWICE).

On that day, the "Talk That Talk" singer started by talking about Nayeon's birthday and went on by asking for recommendations about what kind of photos should she post.

Just then, the conversation suddenly turned serious after Jeongyeon mentioned Nayeon's notorious stalker returning to Korea for the female idol.

Jeongyeon apparently quoted a fan's message saying, "Nayeon unnie's stalker is in Korea. Tell her to be careful," and replied:

"I was about to tell you that person contacted me. How did he get my number? Don't worry, I will scold him."

Jeongyeon added:

"Please don't pay attention to those kinds of people."

This is not the first time that a TWICE member suffered from phone number leakage. In January 2020, Nayeon's stalker Josh spread Chaeyoung's personal number.

At the time, Chaeyoung vent her frustration on Instagram and conveyed how her phone was overwhelmed with numerous calls and texts from people she doesn't know.

She went on by revealing that she's not the only one suffering from private information leakage but as well as her co-members.

Initially, there's no suspect but the infamous stalker confessed himself and said:

"We spread the numbers with good intentions."

In response, JYP Entertainment announced their official position and attested to fans that they will investigate the case and submit the evidence in violation of the Privacy Act.

But even after two years, Josh is still free, continuously tormenting TWICE members.

As a brief context, the German stalker on September 21 revealed that he was back in Korea to give Nayeon her birthday presents. He also asked the female idol to contact him, still having delusions that they are in a relationship.

After the fandom ONCE reported this incident to the agency, JYP on the following day release their side and stated:

"We are discussing a response with the relevant department."

But fans weren't affirmed but were enraged due to the agency's complacent response despite Nayeon's as well as the other members' safety being on the line.

They also pointed out why Josh wasn't taken from the airport once he entered Korea when the criminal complaint filed against the stalker in 2020 said that:

"When the person enters Korea, the police in charge at the immigration office will be contacted and (Josh) will be taken from the airport."

Meanwhile, Josh has been stalking Nayeon since December 2019. He claimed he was dating Nayeon. In January 2020, he made a fuss by boarding the same plane as TWICE and forcibly approached the members.
