Missing BTS? Here's What the Members Have Been Up to Since Group Hiatus

While BTS remains an active group, the members had made the surprise announcement that they would be taking a hiatus from group activities to focus on their solo projects back in June of this year. Although BTS would be performing as a group for their concert in Busan for Korea's bid in the World Expo 2030 in October, the members have been busy doing their own things since then.

But if you are missing BTS, check out what members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have been up to these days!

1. RM

BTS RM

Following the group's hiatus, leader RM has been busy traveling around the world to attend events, such as music festivals and concerts, and art exhibits for his personal interests. In fact, he showed his love for art by lending his voice for the audio guide of the exhibitions The Space Between: The Modern in Korean Art at the LA County Museum of Art.

As an artist, he did collaborate with Balming Tiger for the song "SEXY NUKIM," in which he featured in. RM also has his own special photo folio, Me, Myself, and RM, following fellow BTS member Jungkook.

2. Jin

In the past few months, Jin has been spending his time doing the things he has been wanting to do for a while. Over on his social media, Jin has been sharing what he is up to these days, like playing tennis, cooking, and traveling. He also spends time with fans by doing a live broadcast.

Jin had also worked part-time at Nexon to provide new ideas for his longtime favorite game, Maplestory. More recently, he traveled to Los Angeles with several of HYBE's staff. However, his reason for traveling remains unknown, and all Jin said that it was an "important business."

3. Suga

Unlike the other members, Suga has been pretty quiet with what he has been doing these past few months. Although he does update his social media with new photos of himself. But back in July, Suga surprised fans when he performed "That That" with PSY at the latter's Summer Swag 2022 concert, which marked the first time they performed the collaboration song live together.

4. J-Hope

BTS J-Hope

J-Hope is by far the busiest member since BTS' hiatus. A month after the group announced their break, J-Hope released his first studio album "Jack In The Box" in July. This is followed by him becoming the first Korean to headline a major music festival in the United States with Lollapalooza in the same month.

Aside from that, he has been busy appearing on broadcasts, such as IU's Palette, Zico's Give Me a Minute, and Crush's BLACKVOX. More recently, he featured in Crush's new single "Rush Hour," released on September 22.

Just like Suga, not much is known about what Jimin has been up to these days. Although he is often spotted hanging out with his fellow BTS members. In fact, he even traveled to Chicago back in July to show his support for J-Hope's Lollapalooza performance.

Aside from that, Jimin is reportedly working on his solo album as he was also spotted meeting with several well-known producers. He has also been spending time with fans through live broadcasts.

6. V

Not long after BTS' hiatus, V traveled to Paris to attend Celine's show for the Men's Paris Fashion Week in June. And just like the rest of his members, he has been traveling around the world to relax, and likely for undisclosed business. More recently, he became the cover of Vogue's October issue.

In addition, V has constantly been in the public's attention due to his dating rumor with BLACKPINK Jennie, which is accompanied by several leaked photos of the two.

7. Jungkook

And lastly, the group's youngest member Jungkook collaborated with his favorite American singer, Charlie Puth, for the song "Left and Right" released on June 24. He also has his own special photo folio Me, Myself, and Jung Kook - Time Difference.

Jungkook also won the Artist of the Summer award by Audacy in September. Aside from that, Jungkook has also been spotted attending concerts, such two nights of IU's concerts in Seoul!
