2PM Wooyoung Makes THIS Sudden Request to Nichkhun- His Response Proves He's Real Friend
On the Oct. 2 broadcast of KBS 2TV's variety show "Beat Coin," the cast members (including 2PM Wooyoung) were asked to complete a particular mission. This mission involves calling people they knew and asking to borrow money.
The cast members didn't actually need to borrow money and the people they called didn't know about the mission. To complete the mission, they need to ask their friends for some money that when combined will reach 100 million won (approximately $70,000 USD).

When it's time for 2PM Wooyoung to call someone, he chose his fellow member Nichkhun. During their phone conversation, Wooyoung said, "I'm so sorry, hyung, but I'm in urgent need of money at the moment. Do you think you might be able to [lend me some]?"
Nichkhun asked how much he needed, and at Jo Se Ho's advice, Wooyoung responded, "50 million won [nearly $35,000 USD]."
2PM Nichkhun immediately agreed to help him out without asking for any further questions. He asked, "Where should I send it?" Then, Wooyoung replied that he'll just text him the details.
Nichkhun worriedly asked, "Are you okay, though? You're not in any trouble, are you?"

Impressed by how easily Nichkhun agreed to help, the other "Beat Coin" cast members silently urged Wooyoung to ask his co-member for more money so they could hit their goal of 100 million won in no time.
2PM Wooyoung responded to his worried hyung, "I'm not in any trouble, but hyung, is there any chance I could borrow a little bit more? Like maybe 20 million won [approximately $14,000 USD] more? That'd be helpful."
"So 70 million won [almost $50,000 USD]?" Nichkhun asked, before adding with a laugh, "Wait, you haven't killed anyone or anything, right?"

Wooyoung reassured him that he wasn't in trouble and also thanked him for his help. He then hung up, and Hong Jin Kyung commented, "Wow, he's so cool."
Although he succeeded in borrowing money from 2PM Nichkhun, Wooyoung wasn't generally happy, as he was worried that Nichkhun was too trusting. He remarked, "Wait, but I'm kind of worried [for him] now. Is [Nichkhun] going to be okay?"

2PM's Recent Group Activities
At present, the 2PM members are busy with their solo activities. But prior to that, they made a group comeback in June of last year with their seventh studio album. Titled "MUST," their latest album features the title track "Make It" (where Wooyoung is credited as a songwriter and composer) and nine more songs.
"MUST" became 2PM's best-selling album in the first week after selling a total of 79,446 copies from June 28 to July 4. The figure is almost 30,000 copies more than their previous first-week sales record of 49,631 copies set by their 2014 album "Gentleman."
