During aespa's rookie year, the girls are considered stunners, not only because of their looks but also because of their fierce music and exceptional storyline and concept. Who would have thought a K-pop group would coexist with their alter egos? This mind-blowing and innovative concept allowed aespa to penetrate the industry further.

Like a ticking bomb, aespa exploded into prominence, thus catching the attention of the fashion, make-up, and video game companies.

As the group gives justice to their concept, the avatar-like visuals of the quartet girl group from SM Entertainment is an ace how aespa is a head turner inside and outside the K-pop industry.

aespa's Unending List of Magazine Shoots

Seeing how aespa took the driver's seat for the year 2021, fans commented that this year is indeed aespa's. Despite being rookies, the group was not just successful in the music industry, as they were immediately immersed in magazine cover photoshoots.

Among the magazines that immediately starred the quartet for its summer edition is Glass Magazine. Following this, Karina, Winter, Giselle, and Ningning became Givenchy's new ambassadors, allowing them to showcase the Fall/Winter 2021 collection of the said brand in their Glass Magazine photoshoot.

The Creative Director of Givenchy, Matthew Williams, even commented that the aespa members radiate "individual energy" that make them stand out.

Following the footsteps of 2ne1 and HyunA, aespa also covered the POP Magazine, making them the third K-pop group to do so. Given the big name under aespa, Wook Kim, one of the empire pillars of K-pop styling, handled aespa in this photoshoot project.

Once again, Karina, Winter, Giselle, and Ningning front a magazine as they are the November issue cover for Nylon China. As their individual, duo, and group photos are released on Nylon China's Weibo page, the fans could not help but applaud the ladies' magnificence, elegance, and appeal.

Since aespa is an ambassador for 'Chopard,' they flaunted the Swiss luxuries in the latest photoshoot ranging from pieces of jewelry and watches that radiate simplicity, yet classic and daring, but chic.

More Than 'Just Visuals'

Despite the dominance that aespa obtains, some people are commenting that aespa is "just visuals" and the girls are not good enough when it comes to music. However, MYs (aespa's fandom) assembled to defend the quartet.

In the group's first appearance in "Knowing Bros," the ladies showed talent ranging from singing, dancing, satoori (dialect), body flexibility, and fluency in multiple languages.
