Lee Chae Yeon, the former main dancer, lead vocalist, and lead rapper of IZ*ONE, is considered by the fans as a 'buried treasure.' Fans have cited that although IZ*ONE was collectively popular, Chae Yeon was among the less famous members.

When she announced that she would debut as a soloist, the fans saw this as an opportunity for Chae Yeon to grab the spotlight. But, when she marked her journey as a solo singer with the release of her mini-album 'HUSH RUSH' by transforming into a vampire, fans still felt terrible because of the situation of Chae Yeon.

Although the 'HUSH RUSH' singer was able to showcase her different facets as an artist in the debut, netizens commented that compared to other IZ*ONE members who debuted as well as soloists such as Jo Yu Ri and Choi Ye Na, Chae Yeon did not get the recognition that she deserves.

Fans have added that although dancing is Chae Yeon's forte, her debut song was insufficient to flaunt her skills in this department.

Compared to Kwon Eun Bi, who also did not get enough attention for her solo debut, fans have deemed that Chae Yeon got even less attention.

Here are some of the fan's comments:

"I feel bad for Chae Yeon. I think her dance level is on the top tier and she sings well too but she's just unlucky. She stayed at JYP Entertainment for a long time, but she wasn't able to debut."

"After IZ*ONE disbanded, she went on 'Street Woman Fighter', but she got so much slander because of the show's editing."

"To be honest, her visuals don't stand out. It's not about being pretty but she doesn't have that trendy vibe. I know she's a good dancer but I guess visuals are important when it comes to idols."

A Ray of Hope for Chae Yeon

With the release of 'HUSH RUSH,' several fans have expressed that the song did not suit Chae Yeon, and that the agency could have planned her debut better. However, some fans have shared that Chae Yeon's track Danny hits differently.

Nevertheless, some fans have shared that Chae Yeon's track Danny is a must-add to the playlist. According to the fans, Danny was a perfect song for Chae Yeon to grace her vocals that highlights her light and airy tone that brings mysterious vibes to the song.
