From lip-syncing to unsynchronized choreographies, BLINKs who paid a hefty sum of money to attend BLACKPINK concerts have a lof of reasons to say why they ended up disappointed after seeing the quartet's performance.
BLACKPINK Criticized For 'Messy' Concert
BLACKPINK held a world tour for the first time in about four years, but some fans are criticizing the frequent mistakes of the members on stage.
Recently, numerous videos of BLACKPINK members making mistakes several times at their concerts spread on various social media platforms, including Twitter.
Some peoples found the mistakes adorable, but other BLINKs came forward to say they were rather "disappointed."
BLACKPINK's World Tour "BORN PINK" kicked off on October 16 in Seoul and is to traverse in 14 cities around North America, including Dallas, Houston and Atlanta.
However, amid the excitement of fans to see the "biggest girl group in the world" set the stage ablaze, this high anticipation left regret as the keyword "mess/messy" sat atop BLACKPINK's concert-related search terms.
Looking it up online, videos shared by fans, particularly BLINKs (BLACKPINK fandom), after the concert showed the BLACKPINK members' choreography not synchronized.
There are times when the "KILL THIS LOVE" singers move as if they had forgotten the choreography or they were doing the same moves, but they seemed to be doing different choreography.
In concerts, it is not unusual to lip sync or use backtrack due to the intensity of the choreography, but the four-member group didn't even try to match the AR and continued dancing without singing.
BLINKs 'Disappointed' With BLACKPINK's Poor Concert Performance
As a result, some BLINKs expressed their dissatisfaction, especially those who paid a lot to secure a ticket just to see the group. Others also traveled far to watch the members. To their disappointment, the group didn't live up to their expectations.
An overseas fan commented:
- "BLACKPINK was the best on stage, but what's wrong with them these days? The audience pays a lot of money to go see it. I'm speechless. I really support you, but this is not right."
- "I really love and support BLACKPINK, but what I saw at the concert is really disappointing. It was a mess with insufficient energy. I really support you, but I can't say that I liked the concert until this time."
Even Korean fans sympathized with the foreign fans and added:
- "I know that they are busy with their respective schedule, and I know their choreographies are also complicated, but they should have practiced more."
- "This is a concert after four years, so I really hope BLACKPINK will do their best until the end."
With the criticisms that the group is receiving, fans are focused if BLACKPINK's performance will improve in the following schedule.
From Nov. 6 to 7, BLACKPINK will hold a concert in Hamilton, Canada.
