Pokemon X and Y release date is on October 12, launching for Nintendo 3DS consoles, as announced during the Nintendo's E3 2013 presentation.

Nintento revealed an October release for both the Pokemon X and Pokemon Y games for the 3DS game console. During the Nintendo Direct E3 2013, the gaming company broadcasted that it will release two new varieties for the 3D evolution for its monster capture game franchise, the Pokemon X and Y.

During the Nintendo Direct presentation of the company, host of new details about Pokemon X & Y are revealed such as the new Fairy Type. The new Pokemon types that are very effective against the Dragon-type monsters will feature brand new Pokemon such as Sylveon and old ones like Marill, Gardevoir, and Jigglypuff.

With the Pokemon X and Y for the Nintendo 3DS, the players cannot only locked their critters inside their Pokemon ball, because in this new game, players can already enjoy riding certain huge Pokemon, as shown in one of the clip from the Nintendo Direct E3 2013 where a player's trainer was mounting a Rhyhorn and galloping the Pokemon through Kalos.

Another thing to expect from Pokemon X and Pokemon Y is its customization features. Players who want to look neater and well-groomed on top of their Pokemon can easily do that by changing their character's clothing and hairstyle according to whatever they want.

Furthermore, Pokemon X and Y also have enhanced community functions meaning players can use the Player Search System to allow them to track their friends, passersby and acquaintances also playing the game, giving them opportunity to upgrade their relationship with each other. Players also have the option to add a certain player as a 'true friend', thus solidifying their relationship in the game.  

Pokemon Company also announced during the Nintendo Direct that it is looking at the possibility of downloadable content for Pokemon X and Y as well as allow players to import Pokemon from previous titles.

Again, Pokemon X and Y release date is already declared, so expect the game to hit the market on October 12.
