K-pop Comebacks (4th Week of December 2022):
1. MAMAMOO Moonbyul - 'Present'
On December 22, MAMAMOO Moonbyul prepared a special album for fans on her birthday.
On this day, the soloist released a special single, "Present," which is a punk-based R&B song. The lyrics of the song capture the dream-like moments with fans, MooMoos.
In the MV, this aspect was revealed through Moon Byul becoming Santa, reading fans' wishes and messages to prepare her special gifts for them.
2. TWICE - 'Merry & Happy' 2022 Ver.
TWICE released an unexpected MV that instilled nostalgia in K-pop enthusiasts, especially ONCEs!
On December 22, the nonet gifted its supporters with a 2022 version of its song, "Merry & Happy," a song released five years ago.
The Christmas song, a song from its first studio album, "Twicetagram" conveys the message of creating memories with your special someone amid the winter.
3. SEVENTEEN Vernon - 'Black Eye'
After becoming a hot topic for his teaser photos, Vernon finally dropped his solo mixtape on December 23 through popular music streaming platforms iTunes, Spotify, Soundcloud, YouTube and Apple Music.
Even prior to its release, "Black Eye" already amassed high expectations as it was initially reported that Vernon participated in composing and writing the song.
"Black Eye" is a pop-punk genre song that flaunts the male idol's unique low-toned voice. The vibe of the song is cheerful and casual yet at the same time, free and rebellious, a song perfect to relieve frustration and stress.
4. 2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE

On December 26, SM Entertainment officially released its winter album, "2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE."
It contained a total of 10 songs created in collaboration with various SM artists. This includes the double title track, "The Cure" and "Beautiful Christmas."
Aside from the sound source, SM also unveiled a special stage video for the b-sidetrack, "Hot & Cold," performed by EXO Kai, Red Velvet Seulgi, NCT Dream Jeno, and aespa Karina.
Along with this, "The Cure," which was represented by leaders of all SM teams, marks the beginning of SM's future global movement in response to climate change and contains a message of sustainable solidarity.
The official MV will be unveiled through "SMTOWN LIVE 2023: SMCU PALACE@KWANGYA," a free live concert to be held on January 1.
5. WayV - 'Phantom'
On December 28, the much-anticipated MV for WayV's title track, "Phantom," was finally dropped!
In the MV, the China-based sub-unit of the large-scale global project NCT showed off a vampiric royalty concept.
This is the first comeback of the group following NCT Lucas' hiatus since August 2021.
On the same day, the group's 4th mini-album with the same name was also released, comprising six songs and two bonus tracks.
