Amanda Bynes To Drop Rap Record With Chinga Chang Records: 'She's More Gangster Than Drake!'

Despite, or perhaps thanks to, Amanda Bynes' media attention due to her arrest and Twitter rants, the 27-year-old has been offered a record deal with rap label Chinga Chang Records.

"Right now you have a Nickelodeon pop star masquerading as a gangster rapper," mused Chinga Chang producer Daniel Herman according to The Huffington Post.

"So I see someone like Amanda Bynes and I know she has talent. I grew up with Nick and the orange couch. I know she has talent. I've heard her sing when she was younger. I want get her in the cutting room in NYC and see what she has. Why the hell not?"

With recent feuds involving Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, and rapper Drake, Bynes' attitude seems to fit what Herman believes to be the gangster attitude. In fact, he proclaims Bynes is "more gangster than Drake."

"You've got a girl that's very attractive and very talented," he said. "If you look at her actions and attitude she represents hip hop a lot better than Drake.

"Musically, this girl carries herself. She is hip-hop. She is not crazy, she is not on drugs. She's just hip-hop! She's a great talent who is going to make some great records with some classic producers."

Previously, Bynes has expressed her interest in having a rap career, after turning down a job offer from Playboy Radio for that specific reason.

Though a record deal has yet to be signed, Herman is confident in the venture.

"This is the perfect home [for Bynes]. This isn't just a gimmick."
