On February 9, TVing original documentary, "K-pop Generation" Episode 4, EXO Suho appeared as one of the idols who will explore the genealogy of K-pop boy groups.

During the broadcast, it highlighted EXO as the "Representative of Worldview," the one who started the concept and fandom culture.

As a short context, the boy group was originally introduced as a 12-member team in which each one of them represents a supernatural power. This concept was then incorporated into their songs and music videos.

Suho then revealed his thoughts about the concept, saying:

"It felt like being the main character from a manhwa (webtoon). We dedicated our whole hearts to the concept, and that's why we decided to trust the members and people working around us. If we do this, (fans) might think, 'ah, so they came from the space,' 'let's see how special they are."

The episode continued with Suho and SM's CEO Lee Sung Soo explaining EXO's worldview, even recalling the setups they prepare during concerts to bring the whole concept to life.

Amid the serious discussion, there is one remark that Suho said, which immediately made people burst into laughter.

While talking about the genealogy of K-pop boy groups, Suho mentioned H.O.T. and SHINee's contribution to the music scene that made them a dedicated fan.

"I think H.O.T. had a social criticism message. Meanwhile, SHINee's 'Replay' (Noona Neomu Yeppeo) was a bit shocking to me because..."

He said in a jest:

"...I am not even a noona (used by younger guys to address older women), but why do I keep listening to that song."

Hilariously, Suho references it to the song's lyrics wherein SHINee sang, "Noona, you are so pretty"!

Indeed, are we even allowed to listen to this song, even though, you're not a noona?

Typical dad joke, everyone! But Eris, who have been listening to Suho's witty jokes, just can't get enough of his cuteness.

  • "What's really funny is that it is not that even funny, but the reason why Suho's funny is because he's not funny!"
  • "I just can't get enough of his humor."
  • "'Not noona,' he said hahaha Junmyeon's dad joke."
  • "He's hilarious."
  • "I can't understand where he's getting such wittiness."
  • "How can he even say this with a straight face."
  • "So unserious haha"
