BLACKPINK Jennie Assures BLINKs After Hurting Her Face

On March 3, BLACKPINK Jennie took to the fandom-communicating platform, Weverse, to tell fans about her facial injury.

According to the idol and soon-to-debut actress, she sustained an injury on her face while exercising. Although it left scars on her face and has to wear band-aids for a while, she assured fans especially BLINKs that there was nothing to worry about.

Here's BLACKPINK Jennie's full message:

"BLINK~

It's nothing, but I'll post it first in case you get surprised.

I was taking care of my health during the break, eating well, and sleeping well, but I tripped a little while exercising and fell down, so I got a bit of a scar on my face. I wanted to get better soon so I don't worry about BLINK, but it's still healing, so I think I'm going to wear a bandage on my face for a while. Please understand if I sound silly.

I need to show you a good performance, but I'm sorry for being like this, everyone. I'll get better soon, so don't worry and see you soon!"

As soon as BLACKPINK Jennie posted her message, K-pop enthusiasts especially its fandom conveyed their cheering message on social media platforms, wishing for her fast recovery. A lot were also reminding her to always take care of herself and put her safety on top of everything.

As a response, Jennie left another comment for worried fans, apologizing:

"So, I don't have time to take pictures these days, and I've been getting treatment every day. I'm sorry BLINK. Now that it happened, I will try to take pictures even with my band-aid on."

In 2020, Jennie also suffered a leg injury during her workout while on her break from their activities. The idol confessed that she was on fire at that time and that after doing pilates, she would want to sweat even more and run using the running machine. The same as what happened earlier, the "SOLO" singer also tripped and hurt her ligament, thus, explaining why she has to use crutches.

We are hoping for Jennie's speedy recovery!
