Girls' Generation's Taeyeon is a mood!
Amid the sizzling topic of Song Hye Kyo and Lim Ji Yeon's hit revenge drama, "The Glory," SNSD Taeyeon represented and portray how every K-Drama fans were too immersed in it that she even did a parody of one of the iconic scene from the Season 2!
On March 13, Taeyeon drew attention after posting a new photo on her Instagram story. In particular, she initially made her fans, especially SONEs' heartbeats skip when she uploaded a photo that stated, "Letter of Resignation."
In the photo, she crossed out the name Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon) and replaced it with her name, Kim Taeyeon, referencing an iconic scene from the high-rating Netflix series, "The Glory."
As soon as the star's IG story spread on SNS, internet users and other K-pop fans can't help but find Taeyeon really funny and relatable!
As a deeper context, Taeyeon screen-captured the scene where Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon) was exposed for her school violence while at the broadcasting station, she was working.
After being questioned about this, Ji Yeon confidently grabbed a paper and pen, submitted an informal resignation letter and cooly said to the company director:
"Why is my life so f*cking hard? I was a bully, but I never murdered anyone."
Fans then hilariously agreed to Taeyeon that they at least want to write a resignation letter like this and submit it while keeping their cool and confidence.
What made it more hilarious was fans were teasing Taeyeon if she was foreshadowing her next plan under SM Entertainment, which is currently in the middle of an acquisition battle between HYBE and Kakao.
Netizens who saw the photo of Taeyeon's "resignation letter" left comments on Twitter and online communities, saying:
- "I guess she's really immersed (in the drama)."
- "It's funny how she crossed out the line and wrote her name."
- "She looks like Park Yeon Jin, too."
- "I can't imagine her going to SM every day."
- "This is funny, but please don't write something like this."
- "This isn't foreshadowing, right?"
SNSD Taeyeon Upcoming Album, Concerts
Amid worries that Taeyeon is indirectly hinting at her departure from SM Entertainment, Taeyeon will continue her solo direction in the second quarter of 2023.
In April, Taeyeon will once again show the K-pop scene what a comeback is with her plan to release a fifth mini album. In the same month, the soloist will also attend a concert in the Philippines along with aespa.
Furthermore, according to SM Entertainment's "SM 3.0" plan announced in February, Taeyeon will hold a concert following the group "Red Velvet" in the second quarter.
Taeyeon's last concert in Korea was "The UNSEEN," which was held in 2020. If SM Entertainment does the Taeyeon concert in the second quarter of 2023 as planned, it will be her first concert in Korea in three years.
