Jessica Alba Wears Yellow Crocodile Print Leather Dress At Awards Show, But Is Against Killing Of Animals? [WATCH VIDEO]

Jessica Alba wore a sunny yellow dress at Spike TV's Guys Choice 2013 Awards on Saturday, but the strapless Versace mini is made entirely of crocodile print leather - a fashion statement many animal rights activists would frown upon.

Jessica Alba has been widely recognized as a champion of environmentalism and animal conservation throughout her career, but might have traded her social views for fashion.

In 2007, the "Good Luck Chuck" star even released a video promoting the International Fund for Animal Welfare, where she voiced her concern for the killing of animals around the world.

"The threats to animals around the world continue to increase," she says in the video.

"That's why I support the International Fund for Animal Welfare, or IFAW, which does incredible work rescuing penguins from oil spills and protecting whales, elephants, seals and other animals from harm and cruelty."

However, Jessica Alba isn't necessarily a PETA extremist and she doesn't always wear outright animal-based clothing.

But her bright leather crocodile-print dress certainly captured the attention of environmentalist groups and not just infatuated men across the world.

Jessica paired her dress with an equally attention-getting-color - red pumps and matching red nails, wrote Access Hollywood in one of their articles featuring Jessica Alba's wardrobe at Spike TV's Guy Choice 2013 Awards.

Jessica Alba has also contributed to other philanthropic organizations aside from animal rights groups, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Feeding America, Stand Up To Cancer and Project HOME.
