BTS Jungkook Flaunts 'Young & Rich' Status After Building Mansion THIS Big in Luxurious Neighborhood

BTS Jungkook is once again showing off his powerful and influential personality after it was reported that he's building a mansion in a neighborhood where known conglomerates reside.

BTS Jungkook Reportedly Building 5-Storey Mansion To Be Completed in May 2024

On April 4, a report released by Biz Korea revealed that BTS Jungkook, the youngest of the group, demolished his 7.63 billion won (about $5.83 million) two-story detached house to rebuild it into a five-story mansion.

In particular, it was initially reported in 2020 that the male idol bought his house in Itaewon Hill, a luxurious neighborhood in Seoul where affluent personalities were living in.

After purchasing it, the "Dreamers" singer waited for approval for the construction of a new detached house for about two years until it was finally given in July 2022. The demolition work then officially started in December of the same year.

In particular, the initially red-bricked house which was first built in 1976 will be remodeled into a five-story mansion. The huge house with about 1161.04-floor area (633.05㎡ land area + 348.05㎡ building area), will have a two-level basement and three ground floors.

Currently, the construction is still ongoing and the tentative completion date will be on May 31, 2024.

With the size of the mansion, it is expected that it will cost Jungkook tens of billions to finish the rebuilding, proving his "young and rich" status in the industry.

The male idol is only 25 years old, but he's been keen on securing his future by investing in real estate. In July 2019, he initially made headlines after buying an apartment located in Yongsan-gu Seoul for about 3.4 million USD. It was then reported that he actually gifted the apartment to his brother, Jeon Jung Hyun.

Meanwhile, not only the size and price of the mansion are gaining attention from media and fans but the neighborhood where his mansion is currently being built.

In particular, Itaewon Hill is famous for being the largest and wealthiest neighborhood in South Korea. Not only famous personalities were living here, but known conglomerates. Some of them were SK Group Chairman Choi Tae Won, deemed as the second largest chaebol in Korea backing Samsung Group.

Shinsegae Group Chairman Lee Myunghee, Nongshim Group Chairman Shin Dongwon and DB Group founder Kim Joon Ki were also living here.
