SEVENTEEN Mingyu Made Viewers' Hearts Flutter Following His Interaction With SNSD Taeyeon
In various online communities and social media platforms, there is a video featuring SEVENTEEN Mingyu and SNSD Taeyeon that is turning the internet upside down.
In particular, the clip was taken from tvN's "Amazing Saturday" broadcast featuring SEVENTEEN, which was aired on April 29.
On that day, team SEVENTEEN and team DoReMi had a battle among the group and show's cast by playing mini-games. Both sides were not willing to lose, yet, something happened that changed the purpose of the game— making everyone's hearts flutter instead.

During a game, Mingyu and Taeyeon were called to represent each team to play a "Bear Foot Push" game, where the players have to push each other's palms. The one who failed to keep their feet on the ground will lose, while the winner will get a sujebi and spicy pork set from Incheon as a reward.
As Taeyeon is senior to Mingyu, the DoReMi team started teasing the latter about pushing Taeyeon, who is not only older than him but is also relatively smaller than him.
When the game starts then, Taeyeon showed playful movements and Mingyu followed by doing mime. They continued for quite some time and the male idol also showed his worry if he pushes his senior to joke around and accidentally let her fall for real instead.
Just then, the whole atmosphere became a scene in a K-Drama when Mingyu eventually asked:
"Please just push me."
When Taeyeon tried to push him lightly, he acted like he lost balance, purposely losing the game.

Following the show, this scene became a hot topic among K-pop enthusiasts and online users, lauding Mingyu's polite gestures to Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.
Rather than just giving up the game in the first place, Mingyu showed his gentlemanly side by letting Taeyeon play the round and actually giving her the decision if she wanted to win or lose.
With the heart-fluttering scene, internet users and fans started calling SEVENTEEN Mingyu a "guilty person," which refers to a guy who showed all of the "green flag" signs, yet won't take responsibility for you falling in love with him.
Internet users responded enthusiastically, saying:
- "Mingyu is really a guilty person."
- "Kim Taeyeon's facial expression when she said 'it's okay' (to Mingyu) makes my heart flutter."
- "It's so cute when he loses without doing anything."
- "Kim Mingyu is guilty of thinking for a while and asking (Taeyeon) to push him."
- "Kim Mingyu's kindness and Kim Taeyeon's cuteness are crazy combinations"
- "I'm excited about their height difference."
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN, to which Mingyu belongs released its 10th mini album "FML" on April 24. The album aims to understand youth conflicts and wandering from a healthy and positive perspective, rather than being buried in negative thoughts even in bad situations.
