However, some of the comments were sarcastic. Others remarked that since both groups came from the same production, their staff would most likely be the same individuals in charge of their content.

Read their comments below:

"But their names are also Wanna One, X1 and ZB1."

"Wanna One did so well that they probably stole this (sarcastic)."

"Daebak, it's the same (sarcastic)."

"Copying? F**k why would they copy them?"

"Wanna One's 'Zero Base' PD is the same PD as ZB1 and they've decided on this name for Produce 3 for years already. It's because of the rigging controversy that they're only using it now."

"Well, both are Mnet survival groups and managed by the same company, so the similarity could be seen."

"For the name, it's obvious they took after Wanna One's Zero Base, even fans are making fun about it, including Wanna One fans, but I don't think people call it as plagiarism at that time, since they know it's from the same PD."

ZEROBASEONE, also known as ZB1, is a nine-membered group formed under Mnet's survival program "Boys Planet." The group is comprised of members Zhang Hao, Sung Han Bin, Seok Matthew, Ricky, Park Gun Wook, Kim Tae Rae, Kim Gyuvin, Kim Jiwoong, and Han Yu Jin.

On June 7, at midnight KST, it was announced that ZEROBASEONE will finally be making their much-awaited debut with first mini album "YOUTH IN THE SHADE," which is scheduled to drop on July 10 at 6 p.m. KST. Moreover, ZEROBASEONE has also released the schedule for their promotions.
