Seven years after 4Minute disbanded, where is Jeon Jiyoon now? In a broadcast, the idol-turned-soloist revealed her recent status away from the K-pop scene.
Jiyoon in 2009 to 2019: 4Minute Debut, Disbandment, Solo Debut, PRSNT
In 2009, Jeon Jiyoon marked her name in the music industry after debuting in the five-member girl group, 4Minute, one of the most legendary female artists from second-gen K-pop.
Since the quintet's debut, they were loved at home and abroad for a number of hit songs including, "Hot Issue," "Crazy," "Hate" and more.
Unfortunately, after Cube Entertainment fails to get the members to renew their contracts, 4Minute disbanded in June 2016.
Just like the other members, Jiyoon decided to embark on her solo career after parting ways and joined JS E&M shortly after in August of the same year.

In 2019, she re-debuted and became the vocalist of a band called PRSNT.
Where Is Jeon Jiyoon in 2023? Former 4Minute Member Reveals Her Recent Whereabouts
On June 27 then, Jeon Jiyoon revealed her recent status through the YouTube channel, "TaekandYoon."
After staying away from the spotlight for about seven years, the female singer updated on her recent status and said:
"I'm currently active in a band called PRSNT (present), I've been writing, and doing personal activities."
During the interview, Jiyoon then recalled her time with 4Minute in the past and how she became smarter in terms of finance.
"I was well compensated. Suddenly, I made so much money that I bought this and that, saying, 'I made a lot of money,' so I bought luxury goods in the beginning, but it didn't mean anything."
Due to this, Jiyoon started studying financial technology (Fintech) and advised her juniors:
"If you invest your earned money elsewhere, you can earn more. If you make a lot of money (after the settlement), I hope you save it and study and invest."
She continued:
"(Idol) has a settlement system that is given all at once, so you can get the illusion that 'this will last forever.' You don't realize this when you're active because you are being recognized everywhere, you are being loved, and you have a lot of fans. But knowing that it's not forever is actually a tip and the most important mindset you should have.
If you are always aware of that fact, you can never be arrogant and don't spend money recklessly. It's better to know how much the actual amount, such as production costs and investment costs. I think you should study a little bit."
