She disclosed that she was initially hired to rap due to her English proficiency when she was a trainee but then suffered burnout at that time.

"After my debut, I did about six songs where I only rap, and I became increasingly confused. The more I explored, the more I realized that I loved singing with my voice."

Jennie further reveals that during her trainee days, she was instructed to focus on being a rapper, leaving her limited opportunities to explore other musical avenues.
Jennie explains that she managed to overcome these challenges and find acceptance within herself. Reflecting on that difficult period, she expresses gratitude for the experience.
"It was a time when I denied my true self, thinking it was someone else's path and not mine. But during my time off, listening to music and watching videos of myself performing, I came to accept that rapping was a part of me."
In addition, Jennie addresses criticisms about her dancing style, admitting that she often faced injuries compared to other group members.
"Compared to the other members, I was often injured when I was performing or going about my daily life. That was a lot of stress. I think these things sometimes let the fans down."
The physical toll and resulting stress took a toll on her, which she believes sometimes disappointed her fans.
