NFL Bags Policy Targets Women And Families; No Diaper Bags Or Purses "Bigger Than A Hand" Is An Outrage

Women and families are outraged at the new NFL bags policy that won't allow to bring bags such as purses, diaper bags or fanny packs into stadiums next season. As the NFL policy bans bags bigger than a ziplock, it seems the crazy policy is mostly targeting women and families.

The NFL bags policy is a move which has been met with instant criticism from fans, most notably from the women and families with young children who will be most affected by the bans. No diaper bags or purses! So a stadium full of drunk men it is...

Although the bags policy may provide NFL games with faster lines and better security, a woman cannot sit through four hours with her children without her childcare nessecities. What small child doesn't need a diaper change every few hours!

In a press release Thursday, the NFL Committee on Stadium Security had this statement about the new policy:

The NFL strongly encourages fans to not bring any type of bags, but outlined [Thursday] what is permissible. Beginning with preseason games, fans will be able to carry the following style and size bag, package, or container at stadium plaza areas, stadium gates, or when approaching queue lines of fans awaiting entry into the stadium:

• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12." (Official NFL team logo clear plastic tote bags are available through club merchandise outlets or at nflshop.com), or

• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).

• Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bag options.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, seat cushions, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.

Even a woman without children can not pack her goodies in bags "the size of a hand." And notice how it is alright to buy their NFL bags but disapproves of bringing your own.

The outrage about the new policy has just began and as football season nears the NFL will have to make adjustments to these rules unless they want the stadium to be just old drunk men.
