K-Media Highlights SHINee Taemin's Status as the 'Standard,' Model in Idol World

On August 1, the Korean media outlet Xports News discussed the position of SHINee Taemin in the music industry as a "model idol."

As a brief background, Taemin debuted in 2008 as the main dancer of the "Prince of K-pop" SHINee. At the time, he caused a sensation in the K-pop scene as the "youngest male idol" to be launched by SM Entertainment at the age of 14.

Some of the most popular "Taemin fan" includes SEVENTEEN Hoshi, SF9 Chani, NCT Dream Jeno and Jisung, aespa Karina, ATEEZ HongJoong, VERIVERY Dongheon, VICTON Byungchan, TXT Taehyun, Jeon Somi, and many more!

A lot of idols don't just admire him but a lot confessed that they were inspired and motivated by his growth history that they ended up wanting to debut as idols and create their own footsteps as well, regardless of boy groups and girl groups.

As a role model, Taemin isn't only acknowledged because of his outstanding skills and achievements, but on top of these, he was well-respected for the great care and effort he's giving to every craft and work he made, and how he was able to remain grounded regardless of making it on top.
