Over Instiz, videos created by a vocalist specialist on TikTok became a hot topic, revealing the Top 3 best female singers from each K-pop generation.
Although there are skeptical about the eligibility of the vocal specialist, a lot of K-pop fans agreed that regardless of the rankings, they, too, think that the names mentioned deserve recognition as top singers.

2nd-Gen: Former SISTAR Hyolyn

Although numerous shining vocalists debuted in the 2000s to late 2010s, numerous fans agreed that Hyolyn can be considered as the No. 1 singer from the second-gen era.
The vocal specialist gave Hyolyn a Grade A (great vocalist) having a vocal range of F#3 to E5.
In this era, numerous top singers were born, but, there is no doubt that Hyolyn deserves this spot, not only for her vocal technique and quality but also for her execution. She always delivers excellent stage presence and emotions.
Hyolyn is the main vocalist of the K-pop iconic group SISTAR, and she's also the voice behind notable songs, such as "Touch My Body," "Give it to Me," "Shake It," and "Alone," and more for groups, while "Good bye," "Dally," "SEE SEA," "I Choose to Love You," "Erase," and more for her solo.
3rd-Gen: Red Velvet Wendy
From those artists who debuted in the early to late 2010s, Red Velvet Wendy is dubbed the best singer of the third-gen era.
She was given a B+ (skillful singer) grade and her vocal ranges were identified from the key F#3 to C#5 which could go as high as A5.
In 2014, Wendy debuted as the main vocalist of the girl group Red Velvet and since then became the voice behind their hits, "Pyscho," "Feel My Rhythm," and more.
She is also an "OST Queen" who lent her outstanding voice to a lot of notable dramas, such as "Don't Push Me" of "Uncontrollably Fond," "Only You" of "Hwarang," "Goodbye" of "The Beauty Inside," and many more.
Later on, Wendy cemented her name even more as a top vocalist after dropping her debut solo album, "Like Water," in 2021.
4th-Gen: NMIXX Lily
Last but not least, NMIXX Lily, who is a rookie under JYP Entertainment, was selected as the best singer among fourth-gen idols. She was given a B grade (vocal range: Rage A3~Eb5~G#5).
Although she's new, her top-notch skills have been long known in the music scene after she joined the reality show, "K-pop Star," in 2015.
She ended in fourth place which led her to sign in JYP Entertainment as a trainee.
From her trainee days until becoming a K-pop idol, Lily is always well-regarded for her technique that can easily hit high notes.
There is more room for improvement for the idol as she's still young, but K-pop fans can see her high potential!
