THIS 4th-Gen K-Pop Idol Caught Red-Handed Filming Helpless Woman

In a shocking revelation, a member of the fourth-generation K-pop idol group, SPECTRUM, and an actor known as Hwarang  is facing severe backlash and legal consequences for his alleged involvement in illegally filming an intoxicated woman.

This incident, which unfolded in July, has brought serious allegations of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes against Hwarang.

A Shocking Scandal Unfolds

According to an exclusive report by TV Daily on October 4, the incident took place when Hwarang, a 27-year-old singer and actor, invited a non-celebrity woman, identified as A, into his residence.

The two had reportedly connected through social media and decided to meet in person for the first time on July 30. After meeting in Seoul, they proceeded to Hwarang's residence.

As per reports, the situation escalated when A, who had consumed alcohol, fell asleep at Hwarang's house. Allegedly, without her consent, Hwarang undressed her and began filming her while she was in a vulnerable state.

In a harrowing account, A stated that she woke up to the camera light and the sound of video recording, realizing that Hwarang was filming her unclothed body.

"I drank more than my limit at Hwarang's house and fell asleep. Then I woke up to the camera light and the sound of the video recording, and Hwarang was filming my naked body... Despite being disoriented from the alcohol, I was frightened and waved my hand around and told him not to film. I was afraid that Hwarang might distribute the video."

The aftermath of the incident proved to be equally distressing for A. She experienced severe anxiety, which disrupted her daily life and mental well-being.

The trauma she endured prompted her to file a criminal complaint against Hwarang. Even the sight of camera lights triggered distressing symptoms, highlighting the profound impact of the violation on her psychological state.

Attempting to address the issue directly, A tried to contact Hwarang, but she claimed that he had changed his phone number. He allegedly resorted to communicating through social media, where he made threats of reporting her as a stalker. Such behavior further intensified the victim's distress and solidified her resolve to pursue legal action against him.

In the wake of these isturbing revelations, the entertainment industry has begun taking steps to distance itself from Hwarang. Scenes featuring the idol in a recent web drama were edited out, and promotional content featuring him was set to private access.

Additionally, Hwarang's social media accounts have been made private, and his agency is reportedly unresponsive amid the ongoing controversy.

SPECTRUM, a seven-member boy group, made their debut in 2018 with the song "Light It Up" under WYNN Entertainment. The implications of this incident on the group and its future endeavors remain uncertain, as the scandal continues to unfold.
