Australia Vs. Iraq World Cup 2014 Qualifying Games Schedule Update: Preview And Online Live Streaming [WATCH & LISTEN]

Australia will play Iraq in a World Cup 2014 qualifying game on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Allianz Stadium in Sydney that will determine the fate of the Socceroos within Asia's qualifying region.

Australia is currently ranked second within Group B, having earned ten points with 11 goals in their favor and seven goals working against them.

Iraq is ranked last within Group B and has five points - the Lions of Mesopotamia have four goals in their favor and seven goals against them.

Although the Socceroos have earned a competitive standing over Iraq, players of Australia's squad have their sights set on winning enough points to challenge Japan's position as leader of Group B with the most points.

Australia is trailing behind Japan with seven points and five goals.

Meanwhile, Iraq is looking to maneuver themselves past Jordan and Oman, who have earned a few more points than Iraq, and move onto the next round of the region's qualifying matches.

The Lions of Mesopotamia fell to group rivals Oman and Japan - losing 1-0 in both matches - in previous qualifying games. Australia tied with Japan 1-1 and swept Jordan in a 4-0 victory in past matches.

Although Australia and Japan have been regarded by many analysts as the favorites within the group, Iraq will look to solidify its chances of qualifying for the final stage of Asia's World Cup 2014 qualifying matches.

Both Oman and Jordan's upcoming matches will also determine the likelihood of Iraq's advancement to the final stage of the competition.
