THIS 'Street Woman Fighter 2' Crew Leader Addresses Mnet's 'Evil Editing'

THIS dance crew leader shared how her interview got edited to fuel drama in "Street Woman Fighter 2."

Here's what she said.

Deep N Dap Leader Mina Myoung Clarifies 'Beef' with 1MILLION Lia Kim, Expresses Shock in Show's Version of Her Story

"Street Woman Fighter 2" impressed audiences with its performances and battles. However, many viewers also looked forward to one irresistible factor, which is the compelling drama that creates tension and "beef."

Among the long list of conflicts, the most memorable one was of Deep N Dap leader Mina Myoung and 1MILLION leader Lia Kim's feud, which was shown in the first episode.

During Episode 1, the show presented the details of their infighting, which resulted in an intense dance-off between the two veterans.

According to Mina in the show, their falling out was due to Lia Kim's choice to credit herself for the dance Mina and her fellow 1MILLION dancers made. The program also alleged that Mina had a problem with the payment split between the team.

Here's how the scene went:

Mina: "I was in 1MILLION until 2019, it was ten years. I thought of Lia as my family and I loved her, but I wasn't treated properly."

Lia: "I just don't understand why she thinks she was treated unfairly."

Mina: "There was only one thing I wanted. I asked to raise the pay for the choreography demo, but the raise never came. I wasn't worth it."

Lia: "Pay? As for the choreography fee, we would split it all if we worked together. It's not that I take more money."

Mina: "I trusted her way too much. I loved her too much. I guess I can't forget about it, considering how emotional I got."

Lia: "I have no complaints about Mina. I didn't know she had so many complaints. When clients ask for a choreography, they ask Lia Kim as the director, then we make the choreography. But do they think that I steal their opportunities?"

However, on November 9, YouTube channel NONOCREW released its episode featuring Deep N Dap.

On the episode, Mina clarified her interview in the dance series.

Mina: "The program asked me 'What made you leave 1MILLION?' So I replied I was with them for a long time, and during my days there, I created lots of choreos. But since choreographing was a lot of work, I said that a raise would be nice after around three years."

Mina: "But that didn't work out in the end, and during the final negotiations of the contract, a lower rate was offered, and it was less than my usual rate. That was because the crew was going through a tough time. I couldn't accept it, so I told them I'd quit the team."

However, Mina then shared how shocked she was with the final outcome of the interview, as she claimed that the program used certain parts of her answer to stir drama.

Mina: "But my interview was followed by Lia unnie's interview, where she started talking about 'joint distribution' and I was like 'What the?' It made me wonder why she would talk about fair distribution out of the blue."

Mina: "I now also do joint work. I haven't done much yet, but I've always believed that it's only natural to do a 5:5 split. I never said it wasn't fair, but unnie's interview brought up the topic of joint distribution, it ended up looking like I was burdened with the 5:5 split and that I left dissatisfied."
