Uzbekistan Vs. Qatar World Cup 2014 Qualifying Games Schedule Update: Preview And Online Live Streaming [WATCH & LISTEN]

Uzbekistan will face off against Qatar in a World Cup 2014 qualifying game on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at the Bunyodkor Stadium in Tashkent with the hopes of advancing to the region's playoff matches.

The White Wolves of Uzbekistan are currently in third place within Group A of Asia's qualifying region with 11 points, six goals in their favor and five goals working against them.

The Maroons of Qatar are in fourth place with seven points, four goals in their favor and eight goals working against them.

Both teams are fighting for a second or first place rank within Group A for entrance to the final stage of the region's qualifying matches and to avoid not qualifying for the World Cup 2014.

Uzbekistan defeated group rival Lebanon 1-0 in their last home game and fell to South Korea 1-0 in an away game, while Qatar lost to both South Korea (2-1) and Iran (1-0) in their last qualifying matches.

While South Korea and Iran are poised as the powerhouses within Group A, Uzbekistan has a relatively favorable record throughout its World Cup 2014 qualifying games, with three wins, two loses and two draws.

Qatar has won two games, lost four matches and tied once.

The White Wolves will seek to move up within Group A and gain a point advantage over Iran and South Korea while the Maroons hope to move up to a third-place position, leaving them with some hope of qualifying for the World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
