In a surprising turn of events, the Central Labor Relations Commission has ordered the reinstatement of an employee at the Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) who was dismissed for unauthorized access to BTS RM's personal information. On December 22nd, Dispatch reported that the office of Kim Doo-gwan, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, released the Central Labor Relations Commission's retrial decision submitted by KORAIL. The commission not only ordered the reinstatement of the dismissed employee, referred to as Mr. A, but also mandated the payment of normal wages.

Mr. A, formerly in charge of information technology development at KORAIL, had accessed RM's personal information for three years, starting in 2019. The unauthorized access included sensitive details such as ticket information, addresses, and mobile phone numbers.
