Nowadays, we see entertainment companies debuting idols who are extremely young. However, that was not always the case. Here are ten female K-pop idols who debuted aged 20 or older!
1. LE SSERAFIM Sakura
This list only mentions her debut as a K-pop idol.
When Sakura first made her debut with IZ*ONE in 2018, she was 20 years old. After the group disbanded, she re-debuted in LE SSERAFIM in 2022 at the age of 24.
Sakura was born on March 19, 1998. She is currently 25 years old.
2. Red Velvet Irene
Red Velvet made their debut in 2014 with "Happiness." At that time, leader Irene was 23 years old.
Irene was born on March 29, 1991. She is currently 32 years old.
3. MAMAMOO Solar
When MAMAMOO made their debut in 2014 with "Mr. Ambiguous," Solar was 23 years old.
Solar was born on February 21, 1992. She is currently 32 years old.
4. BLACKPINK Jisoo
