In a night of celebration and recognition, girl group NewJeans clinched the prestigious Song of the Year title at the 21st Korean Music Awards for their captivating track, "Ditto".

The 21st Korean Music Awards, held on the evening of February 29th, showcased a plethora of talent and musical prowess.
Among the standout moments, KISS OF LIFE emerged victorious as Rookie of the Year, while the esteemed title of Musician of the Year was bestowed upon Silica Gel. Notably, Album of the Year honors went to Beenzino's "NOWITZKI".

Stepping onto the stage to accept their well-deserved accolade, the members of NewJeans - Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein - extended heartfelt gratitude to their devoted fans and shared their sentiments.
Reflecting on their journey, Minji expressed:
"Last year, we won Best K-pop Song at this awards with our debut song ‘Attention'. This year, we have taken a step further with ‘Ditto', a song we participated in producing, so it is even more precious and meaningful to us".

Looking ahead with optimism and eagerness, Minji articulated the group's readiness for new challenges and growth.
She affirmed, "I believe that NewJeans is always prepared for a new beginning. I and the members have experienced and learned a lot since last year, but there are still so many things we don't know and have to learn. Echoing Minji's sentiments, Hanni expressed gratitude to their dedicated fanbase, known affectionately as Bunnies, for their unwavering support. She also extended appreciation to their CEO and all those who embraced "Ditto".
Hanni assured, "We'll return with better music this year".
In recent news, NewJeans made history at the 2024 Billboard Women In Music Awards by winning Group of the Year, becoming the second K-pop girl group after TWICE to attend and win.
The ceremony, set for March 6 in California, will feature NewJeans alongside top artists like Karol G and Charli XCX, with Tracee Ellis Ross as the host. Fans, including Bunnies on Twitter, have congratulated NewJeans for this achievement.
