Red Velvet Wendy Named as SM Entertainment Managers' 'Favorite'
On March 3, Red Velvet Wendy appeared on the web entertainment program, "PSICK SHOW." The new episode is posted on its official YouTube channel, Psick University.
On this day, the idol, along with MCs Lee Yong Ju, Jung Jae Hyung, and Kim Minsu, discussed various topics like rumors surrounding the Red Velvet's main vocalist.
In the program, Wendy was introduced by the trio as the "Daughter of SM" and went on by talking about her well-mannered personality.
Kim Minsu, who she worked with together for SNL Korea, praised Wendy, describing her as "likeable" and "sweet."
"She's really a likable girl, you know what I'm saying? She always contacts me first and sends greetings like, 'Have a good holiday' or 'Happy New Year. She's a good person. You're born like that."
The comedian and host went on that there are actually a lot of rumors going around about the "Feel My Rhythm" singer, but all of them were good and positive.
Among them is the rumor that Wendy is all managers' favorite among SM Entertainment, and even MC Lee Yong Ju attested to it.
Kim said:
"When I asked my manager, 'What do you think about Wendy? She replied, 'In SM, the managers like her the most!'"
Lee added:
"Our manager was at SM for 8 years and she said that. She would say, 'Wendy is a really good person,' 'Her personality is the best."
Wendy, who recognized her by her name then felt grateful to her and sent her a cheerful greeting to the camera.
Red Velvet Wendy to Drop 2nd Mini-Album 'Wish You Hell' on March 12
Meanwhile, Wendy is expected to earn more love and support on March 12, with the release of her second mini-album, "Wish You Hell."
This will be her first solo comeback in about three years after releasing his debut mini-album, "Like Water" in April 2021.
Regarding her album, "Wish You Hell" will be comprised of six songs, including a title track of the same name and five other b-sidetracks, including "Best Ever," "His Car Isn't Yours," "Better Judgment" and "Vermilion."
"Best Ever" will feature Wendy's fresh look and confident message of how perfect love with a favorite partner can make someone feel excited like a drowsy and pleasant weekend afternoon.
Another track, "Vermilion" is an R&B pop ballad that features lyrics that stimulate warm and cozy sensibilities like watercolors by comparing "myself" to the blue sky as "I meet and love you."
Prior to the album's official release, Red Velvet was already drawing massive attention as teaser images and concept clips were released ahead to tease what will be the concept ans atmosphere of this new album in advance.
So far, Wendy's hip appearance that exudes a free and unique vibe sparked curiosity about what kind of image will the star showcase this time.
