In a variety show, a trio member raised brows for exposing her bandmate for inviting a man over to their dorm in the past.

Here's how netizens are reacting to the reveal.

S.E.S. Eugene Receives Flak for Exposing Bada 'Inviting' Man to Their Dormitory

In 1997, SM Entertainment debuted the legendary female K-pop trio S.E.S, composed of members Bada, Eugene, and Shoo. The trio quickly became a hit within domestic areas and has earned the title of "OG Fairies" in K-pop through their music.

Despite disbanding in 2002, the trio reunited once again in 2016 and has been in touch ever since. Apart from their music, the members are shown to be getting along on numerous occasions, which highlights their unbreakable bond.

On March 15, Eugene appeared on Bada's YouTube channel, exciting many fans of the two first-gen idols' interaction. The video showcased the two catching up with each other indulging tteokbokki (rice cake).

During their meal, Bada was suddenly thrown back into memory lane, when she recalled that she had always eaten tteokbokki at their dormitory. The singer also shared that she felt assured when Eugene was present to accompany her.

Bada then expressed that she felt nervous whenever Eugene left the dorm, and claimed that latter was popular around men.

After pointing out her fear of being alone in the dorm, Eugene remarked that Bada used to invite her dates to the dorm.

Flustered, Bada objected by remembering the surge of fans in front of their building, but Eugene continued with her story, claiming that Bada once invited someone to their dorm.

Bada: "It's nostalgic, I used to be lonely when eating tteokbokki alone. The members go out after getting asked out by someone. I was so happy when you were home, and I wasn't lonely."

Eugene: "Why? Were you scared I wouldn't come back home? Well, you used to invite them to our dorm."

Bada: "What do you mean? Don't you remember how many fans we had in front of our home?"

Eugene: "She had once invited someone to our house, and at the time, she used the master bedroom. They didn't come out once they went in. Do you know how surprised I was? I thought my unnie was a baddie."

Bada: "I'm married now. Well, I do remember someone who I couldn't believe was actually there."

Eugene: "I still can't believe it to this day."

The exchange trended in an online community, where netizens expressed disappointment towards Eugene for revealing Bada's personal life.

Fans aksi pointed out that even though it was Bada's channel, Eugene's remark was unnecessary for someone like the former who is now married. Read their reactions below:

  • "Is she trying to smear her image?"
  • "I'm gonna buy eyes that have never read this."
  • "Why would she say that?"
  • "I thought that she was just trolling but I'm even more shocked learning that it was real."
  • "Do they have a bad relationship?"
  • "The wording was so cheap."
  • "I guess it's okay since it's Bada's channel and she could've edited it out. but, girl, why are you talking about a married woman like that?"
