1. Amber Liu's Apology Controversy

Amber Liu made a controversial statement about a viral video involving a black man and police harassment. Her initial comments received backlash for being ignorant and insensitive.

She said, "He deserved it. I think he just deserved it because he's being super disrespectful, and you don't have to act like that toward a police officer. A police officer is still a police officer. You should still show some type of respect. Know your rights but show some type of respect."

Haesung from Enhypen faced accusations of mouthing the n-word in a viral video. The video, which has sparked heated debate among fans and onlookers, shows Haesung seemingly singing along to a song where the N-word is present in the lyrics.  3. San E's Controversies

San E faced backlash for misogynistic lyrics in his song "Feminist" and later released a controversial apology 

The artist explained that the song 'Feminist' was crafted to shed light on the prevalent issue of gender-based discrimination and hypocrisy within society. He emphasized that the lyrics were not a reflection of his personal beliefs but rather a critique on individuals who outwardly profess support for feminism and gender equality while harboring contradictory sentiments and actions in private.

San E further elaborated on specific lyrics from the song, providing context and reasoning behind each line. He highlighted the disparity in wages between men and women, citing examples from prominent figures to underscore his points. Additionally, he addressed the line questioning women's dedication to military service, clarifying his own background as a US citizen who cannot claim certain rights in South Korea.

Moreover, San E made it clear that the character portrayed in the song does not represent all men and reiterated his belief in mutual respect and love between genders. He acknowledged the criticism directed towards him and expressed willingness to accept further feedback with humility.

Unfortundately, despite the apology that received mixed reactions, he aggravated the situation with comments during a concert, leading to his agency dropping him.

The incident took place on December 2, 2018 where San E faced a hostile crowd that booed him upon his appearance on stage. The situation escalated when San E made derogatory comments directed at feminist groups, particularly mentioning "Womad and Megal," which are associated with radical feminist communities in South Korea.
