SHINee Signs With Griffin Entertainment
Onew, born in 1989, who will be 35 years old this year debuted as the leader of SHINee, a group under SM Entertainment in 2008.
Since then, they established their position in the music scene with hits such as "Replay," "Sherlock," "Lucifer," "Dream Girl," "View" and more.
In 2018, he also cemented his name as one of the top-tier vocalists after debuting as a soloist and so far has released three albums, "Voice," "Dice" and "Circle."
In June last year, he unfortunately missed SHINee's 8th studio album activities to commemorate their 15th debut anniversary due to health issues and remained inactive since then.
On April 3, he shocked the entertainment scene after revealing that he signed with a new label called Griffin Entertainment, confirming his departure from SM.
Although he left the label, Onew, together with Taemin who also transferred to BPM will continue to promote as SHINee along with Key and Minho who remained in SM.
