Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom Specs: First Firmware Available For 16MP Camera-Smartphone, UK Price Set At £467 [VIDEO]

Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom was announced earlier this month, and the first firmware for the Galaxy S4 Zoom has just become available, Sammobile reports.

The Galaxy S4 Zoom, Samsung's first camera phone to run Android, features a 4.3-inch zHD sAMOLED display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 16 megapixel camera sensor with 10 times optical zoom, and 8GB internal memory with an external micro SD port that allows up to 64GB.

Additional specs and features include 1.5GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0 LE Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and A-GPS.

Samsung also added a shutter button and volume or zoom rockers to the phone.

The Galaxy S4 Zoom runs on Samsung's Touch-Wiz Nature UX interface with Android 4.2.2.

The Samsung camera-phone allows users to talk, shoot photos, and share them with family and friends from anywhere. It facilitates 10x optical zoom. Photos can be taken, and the zoom function used, without hanging up a call.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom will retail for 499 Euros in Europe, according to Geeky Gadgets. UK mobile retailer Hantec listed the camera-phone at £467.99, including taxes. There's no word yet on how much Samsung's Galaxy S4 Zoom will be priced in other regions.
