This clip of topless Mingyu has left CARATs and netizens making R-19 reactions on social media!
On May 10, SEVENTEEN released the music video for their track, "LALALI," a song included in their hit album, "17 IS RIGHT HERE," originally released on April 29.
In the MV, the track was performed by the group's hip-hop unit, comprised of S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon.
As expected, the video immediately became a sizzling topic among CARATs. The quartet drew attention for flaunting their hip vibes as they traveled freely throughout the city and hung out with friends.
The MV emphasized the song's message of expressing SEVENTEEN's confidence that they can do anything and achieve whatever they want, by utilizing boom-bap beat and dubstep elements based on EDM as well.
While the members impressed with their respective parts, one truly set the internet ablaze, and it was none other than Mingyu!
On various social media platforms, a video showing topless Mingyu in a jacuzzi pool circulated, and indeed, fans all over the world were instantly sent into a meltdown by how hot Mingyu in the clip was!
From his sultry stare at the camera, honey-glazed skin, sculpture-like jawline, solid chest, and arm muscles — CARATs' hearts jumped out upon seeing the video.
Rather than an idol, fans imagined him as the rich, handsome CEO who can afford anything - and everyone!
How can fans even get over this? To cope with the hysteria Mingyu brought, CARATs hilariously simped over the idol on SNS, while some even made adult jokes.
Some jokingly scolded the idol for exposing his body, which is "irrelevant" to the song. Others, however, are teasing them that secretly, they were also losing their minds because of it!
Here are some of the funniest reactions to topless Mingyu:
SEVENTEEN, who is currently promoting their greatest hit album, will continue to send fans into a frenzy as the performance unit is set to drop the MV for the song, "Spell," on the 17th, followed by the vocal unit's "Cheers to Youth" on the 24th.
They are also expanding their global influence through their mega stadium tour, "SEVENTEEN TOUR: FOLLOW AGAIN."
On May 18 and 19, Japanese fans can meet them at Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka, and on the 25th and 26th, they will then grace the Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa.
