'Skins' Season 7 Trailer Unveiled: 'Skins Fire' Follows Effy With Deadly Dangerous Office Job [Video]

The final "Skins" season is coming and the promo for "Skins Fire," was unveiled today as the first in six episodes that will catch up with three members of the cast.

This one features the temptress, Effy, played by Kaya Scodelario.

Scodelario has been around since the inaugural season of the show in 2007.

She's the only cast member to return each season (as they revamp the cast each year to keep the actors young), so it makes sense she'd start out what is the final season of the popular British teenage drama.

The Effy episode, titled Skins Fire, premiere's July 1st on E4, and they released a promo of the show earlier today. Check it out below.

The Effy story for Skins Fire centers around her new job in the financial center of London. She uncovers some business malfeasance within her company in the form of corporate fraud.

The discovery, predictably, leads to Effy's life "spiraling out of control."

Fellow Skins regulars Lily Loveless (Naomi) and Kathryn Prescott (Emily) - plus guest stars Kayvan Novak and Craig Roberts - also feature in the new promo.

Kaya Scodelario spoke about the central themes of the final Skins season earlier this month:

"The main theme is Effy and Naomi's (Lily Loveless) friendship; how it grows, how it changes and the kind of struggles that they go through together.

"The story is about a lot of different things including friendship, love and redemption but ultimately it's them finding themselves in the world.

"They are trying to work out what it means to grow up, how you're supposed to know when you've become an adult and what you should do with your life. It's hard to work all that out when you're 20-something. I certainly haven't."

Kaya also spoke about her character Effy and how she didn't think she'd ever be returning to the role since she the show ended three years ago.

"When I said goodbye to Effy three years ago, I cried my eyes out.

"It was really difficult for all of us to say goodbye as it was our first job. It was hard to go into the world and start auditioning as real actors. Having to pay bills was rather scary too.

"I didn't think Effy was ever going to return and I was really nervous about bringing her back. It took a lot of convincing because she's so precious to me and such an important part of who I am.

"Skins is actually a part of who I am as a person, so I was really focused on making sure the scripts and the storylines were right."

Skins Fire is just the first in three stories the final season will tell: Skins FireSkins Pure and Skins Rise.

Skins Rise covers Jack O'Connell's character Cook, who is working as a drug dealer, and anyone familiar with the show isn't surprised at this development.

Skins Pure will feature Hannah Murray reprising her role of Cassie, who strikes up a "strange and poignant" friendship.
