THIS Idol's Pre-Debut Appearance in Social Experiment Resurfaces: 'It Was Him?'

On TikTok, a pre-debut clip of THIS idol went viral after seeing how he reacted during a social experiment.

On May 12, a video spread among K-pop fans when a TikTok user posted a video of RIIZE Sohee with the caption, "pure-hearted boy."

In particular, the clip that resurfaced is actually a snippet from a social experiment video that was carried out by South Korean YouTube creators way back in 2021.

In particular, such videos captured that despite the toxicity and negativity in society, there are still good samaritans and citizens who will lend their hands to those in need without asking for anything in return.

They are then recorded without their knowledge and those who gave their permission will be shown in the videos, meanwhile, those who didn't will be blurred out.

During the test then, the actor pretended to be a middle school student who had vacation homework where he had to take a picture with his family. Unfortunately, the actor would reveal that he "lost his mother while his father was disabled so he's embarrassed to take a photo with him."

At the time, numerous citizens decided to ignore the actor. However, a young man in a white shirt who was wearing a mask gladly agreed to pretend as the middle school student's family, even asking him his age.

While he was yet to debut at the time, fans who saw the video and the photo taken with the kid made them realize that it was actually RIIZE Sohee, and despite the mask, it was agreeable that it was him!

As a result, fans and K-pop stans can't help but feel touched by the idol's kindness even behind the camera. While there are a lot of stars before that were exposed for their rather bad personality, BRIIZEs can put their trust in Sohee who has a pure heart even before his debut.

Here are some of the comments:

  • "It was him?"
  • "I saw this video first before I knew RIIZE but I didn't know it was Sohee."
  • "No one can cancel him because his past is so pure and sweet like him."
  • "He's so wholesome."
  • "And you're telling me someone hates this man? He has the most precious heart. What do you mean?"
  • "Best boy."
  • "This is the reason why I love Sohee."

Who would have thought that the kindhearted man in a social experiment would debut in one of the current most popular boy groups, RIIZE?

In 2023, Sohee was introduced as the main vocalist of the new boy group launched SM Entertainment. Thanks to their hits, "Get A Guitar," "Love 119" and "Siren," they were able to expand their popularity around the world in less than a year since their debut.

Recently, they proved their influence in Japan by completing a successful fan con in Japan. On May 11 to 12, they received overwhelming support and cheers for it "2024 RIIZE FAN-CON 'RIIZING DAY' in TOKYO," which became special as it was their first solo event held overseas.
