Lil Snupe 'Melo' Rapper Gone To Soon: Meek Mill's Protege Dies Over Lousy $100 Bet At Age 18

Today Meek Mill and his DreamChaser crew are mourning over the loss of their rising star Lil Snupe. Earlier, it was reported that the up and coming rapper was shot and killed over a lousy $100 dice game.

According to Global Grind, Lil Snupe had just turned 18 a few days ago.

Lil Snupe was from Jonesboro, a town of Louisiana with a population less than 5,000 people.  When he died, he was a resident in Baton Rouge.  Whenever he rhymed, he never forgot where he came from.

"The struggle, we rap like where we come from in the slums. Louisiana is like the boondocks; don't no one make it out from here. So everybody who make it, you can here it from him."

The deceased rapper had a record deal with DreamChasers label, a division under Maybach Music, within an hour of meeting Meek Mills at a concert in Louisiana.  Meek Mill said he liked how the young rapper could blend the East Coast flavor with his Southern roots.

"He was spittin' so much pain, he's from the south with a flow like an east coast guy," he said. "Like with that bounce flow, all over the place, he really can spit, and he was talking that talk that I can really relate to. I seen potential in him."

Two months later the, Lil Snupe release R.N.I.C. [Head N*gga In Charge].  It didn't recieved as much hype as it deserved.  The late new comer to the rap game is best known for his freestyling talent.  His words came straight from the dome.  Take a look at some examples below.
